Is useful in topography for "Digital Terrain Modeling" (DTM) by "Triangulated Irregular Network" (TIN), representation (by 3DPOLY, SPLINE or BLOCK entities) and editing (modify, delete or add) of 3D points, and for triangulation, isolines, color-filled contour map, cross sections, longitudinal profile, 2D entities (Line or PLine) projection over a DTM, conversion of a TIN to a regular grid of points and for conversion of existing isolines resulting from maps in points and then in TIN. It exists a modifiable library for codes and BLOCKs. The coordinates, the code and the position (in 3DPOLY or SPLINE) of the points can be modified interactively. You can represent the geological stratification resulting from drilling. You can calculate the volume, 3D area and center of gravity of some bodies limited by 3DFACE entities. TRIANGULATION for AutoCAD 1.3 - TRIANGULATION, ISOLINES, VOLUME and loading of XYZ points files; 4 functions for AutoCAD version 2002 to 2010
An application for AUTOCAD 2002-2010, which makes the triangulation of a set of POINT entities, the intersection curves (isolines) between a set of 3DFACE entities and a set of equidistance plans, horizontally or vertically and calculates the volume and center of gravity of a set of bodies or between surfaces composed of 3DFACE entities. You can also load and draw a file of points having the format: Number X Y Z Code. The triangulation is performed on a convex hull of a set of points. You can triangulate million points! The isolines can be interpolated and their colors are according to a drawn legend. The isolines having Z a multiple of a value will be drawn thickened. VDAFS TO DXF&NC Converter & Viewer 1.7  You can now divide the piece into 2 parts through a horizontal separation plane!
Convert VDAFS file to DXF file (in 3DFACE entities) and generates the NC program for milling a piece composed from 3DFACE entities, by some paths parallel to the machine axis. In VDAFS file will be interpreted the entities of type PSET, FACE (created from the entities of type SURF and CONS) and possibly those of type SURF. 3DFACE entities may result also from 3DFACE or 3DMESH entities from DXF files, from STL ASCII files generates by AutoCAD for solids and from RCAD “3DFace” command. 3DFace entities which describe the surface can be intersected or not perfectly joined!
